Process more incoming shipments faster and more accurately - in record time.

With an end-to-end mobility solution from Motorola and Zebra, you can streamline your entire receiving and put-away functions. Inventory is instantly processed - visible the moment it arrives at the receiving dock and is placed on warehouse shelves in record time - available for replenishment on the product line or order picking in the warehouse.

With mobility, a quick scan of the bar code or RFID tag instantly and automatically identifies and reconciles incoming shipments against your purchase orders in seconds. If the shipment is accurate, it is immediately staged for put-away. With a compact and lightweight Zebra mobile printer worn on a belt, bar code labels or RFID tags can be printed on the spot, ensuring proper inventory control from the minute the shipment is accepted. A quick scan of the new inventory control label provides workers with the fastest path to the proper shelf location for rapid and accurate put-away operations - and a quick scan of the item label and the warehouse shelf tag provides a valuable double check to ensure that items are always stored in the right spot.

If a shipment contains items that are fulfilling a backorder, the right paperwork, complete with shipping label, can be printed on the spot and the item staged for immediate shipment. If the wrong materials are received, the return label can be instantly printed and the shipment can be immediately cross-docked for return to the supplier - minimizing the time and cost associated with handling erroneous shipments.

The result is a new level of efficiency and a reduced cost-per-transaction in receiving and put-away operations. Backorders are promptly filled and false out-of-stocks that could impact manufacturing production schedules, order fulfillment and sales are eliminated - protecting customer service, satisfaction and retention.
